School Council

The purpose of our School Council is to provide a forum where parents/guardians, community and school staff representatives can meet to discuss items pertaining to Fellowes High School (FHS) and provide advice to the principal.

School Council 2016/17
School Council Meetings will be held on the following dates :

Wednesday, November 30, 6:30-7:30

Wednesday, Feb. 8th, 6:30-7:30

Wednesday, April 26th, 6:30-7:30

If you have any items you would like to add for discussion please contact our Council Co-Chairs Gertrude Peterson (gertrude_p@hotmail.com) and Janice Stevens (stevensjanice117@gmail.com) or Principal Dean Zadow (zadowd@rcdsb.on.ca).

School Council minutes are not posted online, but are available to any parent of Fellowes High School. Please contact one of our Co-Chairs to receive a copy. Quarterly Principal updates will reflect the items discussed.

If child care is an issue that does not allow you to attend a meeting, please contact the school and we can look at making arrangements.

The meetings include a report from the Student Activities Association (SAA), a principal's report and any other agenda items that people wish to bring to the table. In the September meeting, the chairperson is elected for the school year. All meetings are open to FHS community members.
