Fellowes High School (FHS) students and staff participate in many fundraisers throughout the school year to supplement student costs for school trips, and to support charities. Some of our recent fundraisers include:

Costa Rican coffee to help Fellowes students go to Costa Rica

Buying fair trade Costa Rican coffee from Fellowes High School students helped send Fellowes High School students to Costa Rica.

A group of 23 Fellowes High School students including two special needs students, teachers Monika Sklepowicz and Kathy Herault and Principal Dean Zadow headed to Costa Rica in February to experience the culture and vast biodiversity of the beautiful country.

"It was a trip of a lifetime," she said. "Even after just the first day it blew the students' minds. They volunteered at an animal shelter, visited a local school and many eco-friendly, sustainable farming/tourism establishments. The students gained an appreciation for eco-friendly practices, healthy and active living and the need to support local and world-wide biodiversity. From the words of the students, it was the trip of a lifetime."

For the month of September, students were selling environmentally and socially responsible, fair trade Costa Rican coffee from Earth First Fundraising.

During the month of October students were fundraising using the annual FHS Citrus Campaign selling grapefruits and oranges.
